Our Code of Conduct

Greater China strives to exceed client expectations!  We have standards for the quality and safety of our products and services, including a written service promise and a 30-day product guarantee.  Greater China and our manufacturing partners are dedicated to doing business in an ethical and responsible manner consistent with our vision, mission and operating values.


Product Safety

Greater China is committed to product safety.   Each order is reviewed by a Product Safety Expert who determines the appropriate test protocol prior to lab testing.  We also verify with our clients the age group and the intended use for the product. If a client is shipping outside the USA, we are able to test to different market standards such as EU and Canada.  Please alert us if you have special testing requirements, questions or concerns.

Greater China products are lab tested by independent labs to comply with all applicable standards and we only partner with leading labs who have a worldwide presence.  

Environmental Impact

As part of our Social Compliance Factory Assessments, environmental requirements are checked at the factory location.  Factories are required to comply with environmental legislation and regulations.

No Discrimination

Greater China and our partner factories do not discriminate in hiring and employment practices on the basis of age, nationality, race, religion, social or ethnic orientation, gender or disability.

Proper Workplaces

Greater China and our partner factories provide a safe, healthy and secure workplace.  We abide by applicable laws and regulations for safety and health.  Proper sanitation, lighting, ventilation and fire safety protection are provided. Greater China is a proud winner of the the 2009 University of Washington Minority Owned Business of the Year Award for King County in Washington State. We are also a "Best Places to Work" winner for three consecutive years now!

Fair Compensation

Our factory assessment verifies that worker’s wages meet local standards and requirements.  In addition, Greater China requires that fair and legal rates are paid for overtime.

Good Labor Practices

Greater China and our partner factories do not support any form of forced labor, or the use of physical or verbal harassment to discipline employees. We comply with all minimum age provisions and regulations.  Proof of worker age is confirmed at the time of recruitment and factory assessment.

Freedom Of Association

Greater China and our partner factories respect the rights of employees to associate, organize or join a union without fear of reprisal or interference. We also respect the right to bargain collectively.

True in Spirit

In the absence of law in China on these standards, Greater China and our factories will meet the spirit and intent of these policies independently.
